Sightseeing and Activities - Bratislava
The Capital of Slovakia is Bratislava, it is also called the Beauty on the Danube. It is surrounded by the Small Carpathian Mountains. The city has a very rich history. It was the coronation city for Hungarian kings and queens, including Maria Theresa of the Habsburg family. Many famous musicians passed through the city and had concerts here. The most famous are W. A. Mozart, Haydn, Ludwig van Beethoven and J. N. Hummel. Contemporary Bratislava offers not only its history but also modern architecture, lots of museums and galleries, excellent gastronomy and a large selection of micro breweries as well as internationally awarded local wines.
