Do you know that feeling when you stand on a hill, gaze upon the landscape below, and all your problems suddenly seem smaller and less important? When you observe miniature church towers, illuminated frames of windows, the outlines of mountains on the horizon, and contemplate the people with their life stories living in the ant farm beneath you, while taking in the colors and scents of the Bratislava city?

Exactly this experience is what we offer you with “Prešporáčik®” Oldtimer, which, during the panoramic tour, will show you places with the most beautiful views of Bratislava and narrate the story of how a small town became the capital of Slovakia, in the heart of Europe.

From the historic center of the Old Town at “Hviezdoslavovo” Square, with the historic building of the Slovak National Theatre, we will head to the Square of the Slovak National Uprising, where you will find a monument dedicated to partisans fallen in the armed uprising against the entry of German Wehrmacht into the territory of the Slovak Republic during World War II.

Our Bratislava city tour continue through “SNP” Square where numerous historical buildings are located. In the middle of the Freedom Square you’ll see the “Družba” fountain in the shape of a linden tree flower, which is the largest fountain in Bratislava. It has a diameter of 9 meters and in 2023 after the square’s reconstruction it became functional again.

The route also passes by the building of the Slovak Radio in the shape of an inverted pyramid, towards the headquarters of the National Bank. After a while, we will pass by the magnificent “Grasalkovič” Palace – the residence of the Slovak president.

We will talk you through the historical part of the city “Palisády”, all the way to “Slavín”, the memorial to the victims of the fight against fascism in World War II. During the 15-minute break, you can pay silent tribute to the Soviet soldiers of the Red Army who died in the liberation of Slovakia and admire the amazing views of the city that will appear in front of you.

After the break, we will head to another landmark of the city, Bratislava Castle. During the 20-minute break, don’t miss the castle courtyard and the beautiful baroque garden. You’ll surely adore the endless views from the castle walls or from the courtyard of the National Council of the Slovak Republic.

Through “Zámocká” Street, we’ll pass by the city walls, around the coronation church of St. Michael, back to the Danube.   Along the waterfront, we will reach the modern building of the “Eurovea” shopping center, the New Theatre, and also the first university in Slovakia, the Comenius University.   At the Slovak Philharmonic, we will turn onto “Hviezdoslavovo” Square, where the entire tour concludes.

Tickets can be bought in our office „Panská“ Street 37, or at our selling stand in Hviezdoslav square (by the historical building of the Slovak National Theate). In season also at the seller in “Rybné“ Square. If you are a bigger group, it is best to reserve your tour upfront for a certain time and date.
