Austria, the country with only 8 million inhabitants is an absolute European highlight regarding the natural beauty and cultural and historical monuments including 8 registered by UNESCO. It’s a country of the majestic mountains of the Alps. The capital of the country is Vienna, situated only 65 km from Bratislava and easily reachable by car or by bus but also by train or boat. Vienna is the birthplace of the world famous waltz, famous personalities of music such as Mozart, Haydn or internationally recognized Austrian doctor and psychologist Sigmund Freud. The most glorious period of Vienna was under the Hapsburg rule, when Vienna was the capital of the Austria – Hungarian Empire and the whole of central Europe at this time . The main monuments are the Cathedral of St. Stefan, Emperor’s castle Hofburg, and lots of palaces. Nearby from the city center, Maria Theresa decided to build a castle Schönbrunn, open to public.  Vienna is a city of culture, excellent gastronomy and entertainment, for example in the Prater Amusement Park. You will find there the oldest ZOO in Europe, from the Maria Theresa period. This is a city worth to be visited.

The Czech Republic offers not only varied natural richness, mountains, lakes, caves, spas with mineral springs listed in UNESCO world heritage, but also traditional folklore, lots of castles open to the public with beautiful exhibitions. The most visited places are Prague and South Moravia, the cradle of Winemaking with lots of wine cellars and the Valtice – Lednice Area (UNESCO) with historical buildings, Minaret, Library. The capital is Prague with 1 million inhabitants, an amazing location on the mountain around the Vltava River with monumental Hradcany and Old-Time Vysehrad, Prague is also called the 100 towers city. The city centre is located around Wencelas square with lots of coffee shops and luxury boutiques. The main touristic attraction is the Old town with its historical streets with lot of smalls boutiques and also with the famous Prague Astronomical Clock. A walk through Charles Bridge will lead you to Mala Strana. Prague is one of the most compact medieval cities in Europe. An educational and interesting visit can also be made to the Jewish quarter. Prague is a centre of culture, with the highest number of theatres in Europe, but also of excellent Czech cuisine, including famous beers served in typical Czech pubs.

Hungary is one of the most beautiful places in central Europe, being on the European map for 1100 years. Hungary is famous for its cuisine and red Tokay wine.  8 Monuments are listed in UNESCO word heritage – Aggtelek kras with the biggest cave system in Central Europe,  Hortobágyi prairie, lake Fertő,  the most western of the Eurasian prairies, in Pécs is an old-time  Christian cemetery,  a 1000 years old – still functioning – Benedictine  monastery in Pannonhalm, a medieval village of Hollókő, in the Tokay wine region.  The capital,  Budapest was created late, in 1873 by connecting  Buda, Óbuda and Pešť. Since then the city has undergone an amazing dynamic development with constructions of lots of Boulevards and palaces. In 1896 the first metropolitan in Europe was built here. The main monument is Buda Castle, the nearby church of St.Mathias and the romantic Fisherman bastion. Along the Danube you can find the majestic building of Parliament, palaces, museums, Hero´s Square with Hungarian Viziers nearby the Népliget park. For entertainment you can go to Amusement park Vidámpark,  ZOO or Tropicarium. Directly in the city you can find a lot of thermal spas and Aquaparks. You just need to decide which attraction you will choose!!
