9 days across Slovakia

1st day: Coming to Bratislava (transfer from Vienna, Budapest or etc?) If there is enough time, then sightseeing on the Old Town Presporacik tour could be possible.
2nd day: Another part of the sightseeing, i.e. the Castle Tour by unique sightseeing vehicle Presporacik Oldtimer, visit to the Jewish Museum, the orthodox synagogue, the cemeteries and the most famous Memorial of Chatam Sofer. In the afternoon you can take a trip to the medieval Red Stone castle, visit the traditional folk Pottery or the Museum of the Small Carpathians (it is a wine region). Overnight is in Bratislava.
3rd day: Trip to the medieval mining cities in the Middle Slovakia as Kremnica, Banska Stiavnica (UNESCO list of cultural heritage) and Banska Bystrica – Mining exposition, medieval mint (still functioning in modern times), manor house in St.Anton. Overnight is in Banska Bystrica or at the Donovaly resort (950 m above sea level).
4th day: You could take a journey on the narrow gauge forest railroad of Cierny Balog (not possible in March), afterwards continue to Kosice – the metropole of the Eastern Slovakia, during the journey you could visit the Castle of Krasna Horka and Betliar. Instead of the forest railroad you could visit some of the unique caves (UNESCO list of natural heritage) – Karst, or ice or aragonit (they are the only 3 visible in the world). Overnight is in Kosice.
5th day: Sightseeing of Kosice (the second biggest city of Slovakia), journey to Bardejov (UNESCO list of cultural heritage), a medieval merchant city, sightseeing, visiting 1-2 typical wooden churches in the neighborhood. Overnight is in the High Tatras (Tatranska Lomnica, Stary Smokovec or Strbske Pleso).
6th day: Excursions at the Spis region (Zips) – medieval towns as Levoca, Spisska Sobota and Kezmarok, the Castle of Spis (a ruin, but still the biggest castle areal in Middle Europe). Overnight is in HighTatras.
7th day: You could take a trip to the National Park of Pieniny, monastery of Cerveny klastor and a wooden raft cruise  on the river Dunajec. By coming back to the High Tatras there is a possibility to take a cable car to the mountain lake called Skalnate Pleso or even to the top of the peak Lomnicky stit (2634 m above sea level), or with the cable railway to Hrebienok and then walking to a nice waterfall. Overnight is in High Tatras.
8th day: You are leaving the High Tatras, on the way back to Bratislava you could visit the skanzen in the region of Liptov or Orava, visit the castle of Orava or the castle of Bojnice. Overnight is in Bratislava.
9th day: Departure.

You need the “Shengen-Visa” valid for the whole European Union, you can apply for it at the Slovak Embassy in Washington or Consulate in NY or LA, or at the country you are visiting first.
