BANSKÁ ŠTIAVNICA – This medieval mining town has been part of UNESCO cultural heritage since 1933 and its unforgettable atmosphere, rich history of gold and silver mining, amazing water reservoirs and spectacular Calvary have been luring tourists from all over the world. You can visit the Old and the New Castle, and see many architecturally significant sacral buildings.

OPEN AIR MINING MUSEUM – Going under the ground into a mine shaft will surely take your breath away. Put on a coat with a helmet, grab a flashlight and embark on your journey. Located 45 metres deep under the ground surface on a 1,300 metres long route, it is the largest topical mining exposition, showing the evolution of ore mining from the Middle Ages until the end of 20th century.

VILLAGE SVÄTÝ ANTON – Right in the neighbourhood of Banská Štiavnica, in a beautiful English garden with lakes, cascades and an artificial cave you will find this beautiful hunting château. It has served as a museum with a unique art and historical exposition since 1962. Golden furniture, the gift from Marie Antoinette, Queen of France, represents the gem of the exposition.

SPA SKLENÉ TEPLICE – Our journey continues on to a picturesque spa resort known for its beneficial and healing effects of thermal springs. We now leave it up to you to decide whether you visit the cave bath Parenica or just enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature and stop by at the J. W. Goethe kursalon to taste some desserts.
